I had a professor who said: Just Write it. Now days you don’t have to wait. You can do whatever you want when it comes to writing and publishing. Yes, we need the traditional publishing route because it keeps standards high, but if you want to write a book, jump right in and keep the standards high for your own work.
I didn't publish anything. I became a teacher, I got married, and I just let the years roll by. I was good at writing and I loved creating projects, but why do people want to write a book and never do it? Maybe your book is finished and you just can't seem to figure out how to publish. Maybe you want to write a book but don't know how to approach the process.
It wasn't until years later when I was a new "stay at home" mom. I had quit the working world but I wanted to do something.
So I researched, listened to webinars and gathered information. It's not that hard to publish on your own but there are some areas that stumped me for some time, which is why I created the 22 steps to publishing on Amazon.
